Eagle Aruba Resort ★★★★

Near to the Eagle Beach and Superfood. All facilities we needed were there. Entertainment every evening was awesome.

I think that the rooms have become dated and worned down. The sofas have stains, the cushions are out of shape and you sink into the sofa. Sheets changed ever 4 the day. And kitchen utensils stocked low.

The hotel is located right across the street from the beach and there is a large grocery store located directly behind it. The kids loved the water slide and play area next to the pool. The staff is friendly. There is a Dunkin Donuts and a small convenience store right on the property for any emergency needs. It’s only a 15 minute drive from the airport.

You can’t control the air conditioning in your room, the beds are hard and they didn’t give us any blankets. They don’t let anyone under the age of 18 in the jacuzzi, which meant that I couldn’t enjoy it with my family. During the day, there was constantly something being fixed/renovated on the property, which took away from the ambiance. No pool waiting service — you have to order food and drinks from the bar yourself (sometimes standing in a very long line and waiting up to an hour for food).

Rooms were clean and daily room service Three pools to choose from - Adults only - Kids Only and Adult/Kids - all were nice Cut through Lacabana to get to Beach - 4 minute walk and worth it - would book again for sure !!!

Room is very nice. We stayed in the Sunrise tower (the east building). Our room was on the second floor closer to Super Food. There is an outdoor spiral staircase on the ends of all the buildings which is very convenient so that you don’t always have to walk to the main staircase/elevators. When going to Super Foods or the beach, we would walk down the spiral staircase. Saved us some steps. Our room was a one bedroom king room. From the outside, you walk into the kitchen. The kitchen is actually a pretty nice kitchen. Full size refrigerator, two burner electric stovetop, toaster oven, microwave, blender, 4 of each of the following - dishes, cereal bowls, glasses, coffee cups, wine glasses, forks, spoons, knives. Large plastic serving spoons and a spatula. One serving bowl and one serving plate. A coffee pot and tea kettle. There is one pan, 3 pots. Cutting board, wine opener, grater, measuring cup, plastic pitcher, ice bucket, ice trays in the freezer, can opener. There actually wasn’t a can opener but I called the front desk and housekeeping brought up a new one right away. Enough to get by. There is a living room, balcony with 2 chairs and a small table, very large closet in the bedroom with a small safe, large utility closet in the kitchen with a broom and dust pan, nice large shower. There are Aruba aloe products in dispensers on the walls. In the kitchen there is dish soap, bathroom has hand soap by the sink and 2 different scents of bath gel in the shower. The products are amazing!! This is me just nitpicking but I wish the decor was brighter. It’s a bit drab. But it is very nice and new and clean which is way more important. You get pool/beach towels every day. You turn in your used towels and get fresh ones daily. There are activities in the resort as well. Kind of like a cruise ship. There is an ice machine and washer and dryer by the elevators. The walk to the beach is a short one.

The only negative about this resort is there is no ocean view. This is definitely not a deal breaker. Most balconies have a pool view which is really nice.

I loved the family cozy environment. The activities and music were a PLUS!

The air conditioning fan, in the room, was very noisy and never cycled. The room was VERY damp. The mechanic came and said everything was working properly. It wasn't because the room was smelling from mildew

The location (between food and beach) was perfect and view we had of the pool for the price. Reasonable. Walking distance to great restaurants.

Didn’t give you much information when you came in. Should have a write up of beach chair “rules” where to get food, yes you can drink the water etc. A nicer welcome would have made an impact after a long trip there. A glass of water (champagne even?). Also the floors in our unit were filthy. We told them and they did a quick mop (thank you) but still had to wash feet every night or dirty the sheets.

The location is perfect, nearby supermarket, restaurants, beach and other tourist attraction

The restaurant at the hotel was closed due to renovation. More clarity that the charge for the caribbean night is for the food as everyone staying at the hotel was able to watch it free of charge. The food they serve during the caribbean night was horrible. It was cold and tasteless and the chicken was hard to chew. The room itself could have been cleaner. Beside my bed was not cleaned after previous visitors, I saw hair, button and dirt. The bathroom sink had mold, I discovered this on the day we left otherwise I would have complaint about it to have it cleaned. And I had a non paying visitor that was left behind from someone else, a moldy cashew on the bathroom floor. These are some things that you need to work on however I enjoyed my stay in Aruba and my stay at the hotel. For us it was a place to sleep.

Room had stained couch and blinds, carpet seems it needs a good cleaning or replacement. Why is “casino” still part of their name? Casino has been gone for well over 2 years. Very misleading. Would have liked more entertainment in adult pool area.

Location and beign so close to the super food. Very close to the beach. The room was very spacious. Outdoor grilling was a plus.

There is not enough access to get to our room. The bed was too hard. We also walked into our room with the prior guest trash in the kitchen trash can.

Entertainment was fun! Pools were great and staff was pleasant!

Wished my room was on ground floor and closer to the beach.

Eagle Aruba was just a great place to stay. Grocery was close.

The pool, the proximity to the beach. Eagle Beach Resort was amazing and I would go back to that location in a heart beat! The staff were all helpful and it is located very close to a grocery store too! Please read the comment on what I didn’t like though!

The fact that this website had hidden charges and I would NEVER use it again. 27% hidden charge that nearly took all of the funds set aside for fun and other things. It could have cost me the trip. I would never use booking.com again. Stay at Eagle beach, but don’t use this website. It was a disappointment!

! bedroom was complete with full kitchen and roomy. Clean and well keep. The pools were clean and comfortable to be in. Food was good . Beach was fairly close.
